“Le Rotte del Pane” – Celebrating Tradition and Culture of Italian Bread in Singapore

During the Amerigo Vespucci World Tour stop in Singapore from October 24th–27th, 2024, Michele Clemente, a young master baker from Laterza, Puglia, was honored by Italy’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forestry for promoting Italian bread and artisanal heritage and for highlighting the Italian baking cultural excellence.

Aligned with this mission, Breads of the Creative Cities proudly embraces the Rotte del Pane project, as both initiatives share a common goal: uniting people through the universal language of bread. More than just a staple food, bread serves as a powerful symbol of peace, heritage, and connection across cultures worldwide.
