Fermate del Pane™ – Carrara: a journey through Artisanal Breads and Local Flavors

As part of the first edition of C/Art Creatives in Dialogue, held on July 20, 2024, in CarraraUNESCO Creative City of Crafts and Folk ArtsFermate del Pane™ project offered visitors a unique culinary and cultural experience. 

The event’s highlight was La Carrareccia, a special dinner along Carriona Road, where 300 guests, seated at a 100-meter-long table, enjoyed local breads and regional delicacies. This gathering fostered cultural exchange among UNESCO Creative Cities, celebrating shared culinary traditions. 

Inspired by the Breads of the Creative Cities project, Fermate del Pane™ emphasized the cultural and historical value of bread, advocating for sustainability, traditional practices, and local supply chain protection.
