Breads of the Creative Cities Meeting in Jinju, South Korea

In February 2023, during the UNESCO Creative Cities Crafts and Folk Art Sub-Network Annual Meeting in Jinju, Republic of Korea, a traditional local baker was honored at the Breads of the Creative Cities Meeting. As part of this initiative, which stems from the Breads of the Creative Cities project, the baker received a certificate recognizing their expertise and contribution to preserving Han Gwa—a unique local recipe and bread preparation technique. The stories and traditions behind this recipe will be shared through the Creative Knowledge Platform and featured in the upcoming fourth edition of the Breads of the Creative Cities e-book.
