Breads of the Creative Cities project – II Edition Outcomes, 2019

The Breads of the Creative Cities project – II Edition was marked by the participation of additional Creative Cities and the expansion of the initiative through the launch of the Breads of the Creative Cities Meeting. These events brought together knowledge keepers—bakers, millers, and farmers—from Creative Cities to foster engagement with the Breads of the Creative Cities project and strengthen international partnerships.
During the meeting, participants received a Certificate of Traditional Cooking from Tucson Creative City of Gastronomy and the Creative Knowledge Foundation, recognizing their expertise in traditional food practices.

The key outcomes of the second edition were officially presented at the XIII UNESCO Creative Cities Annual Meeting in Fabriano, Italy, during the Breads of the Creative Cities Conference. This roundtable discussion gathered delegates from various Creative Cities across different clusters to review the results of the 2019 BoCC edition and propose new ideas for 2020. The roundtable was complemented by a buffet, where local bakers showcased their regional specialties to the attending delegates.
